Crest

The home to Villa Klint

Villa Klint is located in the area of Crest and offers true ski-in, ski-out and hike-in, hike-out access. Reached by gondola from Champoluc, the area serves as a natural starting point for exploring the mountains in every season.

From alpine skiing and ski touring to short walks in the surrounding landscape or longer hikes into the high alpine terrain, the possibilities begin directly outside the door. The wider Monterosa ski area reaches an altitude of 3,275 meters at Punta Indren, with a vertical drop of over 2,000 meters.

Monterosa

The Monterosa valleys

The Monterosa region connects four valleys across Aosta Valley and Piedmont, united by the presence of Monte Rosa. From Ayas and Gressoney to Alagna and Champorcher, each valley offers a different perspective of the glacier and surrounding peaks.

In winter, the area is known for extensive skiing and alpine terrain. In summer, mountain trails, alpine lakes, traditional Walser villages, and protected natural parks reveal a landscape shaped by history, culture, and high-altitude nature.

Exploring beyond the village

Beyond Champoluc, the wider Aosta Valley opens up a varied alpine region of mountain villages, valleys, and historic towns. The surrounding area invites day trips and slower exploration, shaped by seasonal change, cultural heritage, and expansive landscapes.

Key highlights:

    • Antagnod: A traditional mountain village above Champoluc, known for its views over the valley and classic alpine character.

    • Piedmont: Nearby vineyards unfold across rolling landscapes, home to smaller producers and long-standing wine traditions. We are happy to share recommendations for visits and tastings.

    • Fénis Castle: One of the best-preserved medieval castles in the region, known for its distinctive architecture and frescoed interiors.
